Wisdom Teeth Removal

I have been dreading this day for months... (ノдヽ) I've heard stories about how painful it could be, and how some people are put to sleep, and how some people do not need to be put to sleep... a few hours before the surgery, I was a nervous wreck. For me, the only painful part was when they inject anesthesia to numb the gums, after that I didn't really feel anything except for some drilling and pulling. I was thankful that another doctor was there to hold my hand during the procedure. (╥﹏╥)

After its done, they gave me painkillers and antibiotic and I could go home (with an ice pack pressed against my cheek). By the time I get home, the anesthesia wore off and I felt immense pain OHMYGOD. I got tears in my eyes, when I try to take the painkiller, I ended up coughing and there was blood everywhere it was like a horror film. I'm sorry this is graphic.

And thus, I look like a balloon for a week.

On a random note, I found this old pic from my graduate diploma days, this was the last presentation I had to do, a poster presentation. I'm not good at presentations / public speaking, so I was nervous and my voice was shaking.
I still remember a lot of moments from my university days, mostly the small things, such as being able to sit in a quiet cafe to write my dissertation, looking back, I do appreciate those seemingly trivial things...
