ello ello! been a busy monday =(๑•̀ㅁ•́)✧ had a client asking me to revise a design three times even though its due to be published in 2 hours time (◞º❒º)◞...

on a brighter note, i went to try a new cafe during my lunch break~ its actually my first time trying cannelé! the outer shell was soo.. hard?? its almost like a rock, i spent 10 mins trying to break it open lol (or maybe this one is just cold ><) but it was delish~ i think i'm gunna get more next time

i've been playing Elden Ring a lot more lately but i'm currently S T U C K on this compulsory mini boss called Godskin Duo. its made up of two equally annoying bosses that kept reviving until you empty their health bar. the most annoying boss battle i've ever experienced so far i hate themmm T^T

2022 has been a year of major changes for me, positive changes that I should have made a long time ago. welp, better late than never~! A new year doesn't change my life, its just a reminder that one more year has gone. This year I'm looking forward to major changes and also finishing a big project that I've been working on since forever! (ง •̀_•́)ง

First Vlog In A Long Time

When I first started posting on my YouTube channel many years ago, I always thought vlogging was essential to do on the side, since I saw many YouTubers doing it. I filmed a couple of vlogs here and there, but I decided to stop last year because I wanted to shift my focus to a different type of content. But then the pandemic happened and we can't travel internationally.. (つ﹏⊂)
I couldn't film anything exciting during lockdown and I don't want to put out boring videos... now that lockdown has been lifted, I can finally leave the house.
I thought about what I could film at the moment...maybe something different than usual.

This is where I decided to try vlogging again, not with the classic vlogging style though..

3am Thoughts

They say a different version of you exists in the minds of everyone who knows you.

Am I actually living if I constantly put on a 'form', i.e. a version of myself that people think is socially acceptable, instead of being who I am?

These days there's only 1 question in my mind: is this 2021 or 2020 part 2? 

We're halfway through 2021 but it felt like 2021 didn't even happen...

...On a brighter note, I am fully vaccinated!

26 Best Moments

If someone asked me where I saw myself at 26, younger me would probably say "married with kids"...not sure why but when I was young I've always thought 25 would be the age where people have their life together and start settling down. I'm 26 and nowhere near where I wanted to be haha... ha...true story

So, I've randomly decided to make a list of the most memorable moments in my 26 years of life. 

21.09.2015: My first day as a postgraduate student at University of Greenwich in London!

28.02.2016: Did my first live performance on stage! I was taking my first acting class in London at the time, and it was honestly one of the best times of my life. I've always enjoyed acting but I never get to take acting lessons (strict parents) this experience made it clear to me that acting is something I want to keep doing even if its just on the side.

14.06.2016: Got my first internship in London! (without pay)

17.07.2017: Officially graduated with a Master's Degree!

01.06.2018: Got my first proper job as a Digital Marketing Executive in Singapore!

23.09.2019: Rebranded my YouTube channel. I finally have a clear idea of where I want to go in terms of content. I want to focus on cinematic style videos as much as I can.

No idea what's in store for me this year, but last year proved that everything can change at the drop of a hat. One thing I learned from 2020 was to take it one day at a time, so thats what I'll do...

First time cutting my own  fringe! ^_~ wanted to try the airy / see-through style, does it suit me? hmmm..

Finished editing 2 new videos ✓ Wrote 3 new chapters for my story ✓ 

Not only has it been a productive day but I'm also very satisfied since these are the things I love to do  (´ω｀*)

I made butterfly cakes! I'm glad they turned out well, even my mum, who never eat Western style desserts (she prefers Chinese ones) enjoyed it. Yay~

Bits & Bobs 2

☾ Finally watching Kingdom on Netflix, while hiding under the blanket.. haha. It's a new atmosphere for a zombie film, quite refreshing. Also, the zombies are running like its a marathon O.o

☾ I really miss travelling... so sad that I have to put my travel plans on hold because of the pandemic

☾ Can't stop listening to Blackpink's new album! (｀ω´ )

☾ I miss the early 2000s internet when MSN and Friendster were a thing, YouTube and Instagram were definitely much better back then too!

☾ PS5 is out!! Can't wait till I can play Elden Ring
