Mad Hatter's Afternoon Tea

Finally got a chance to try the Alice in Wonderland inspired afternoon tea! It was a cold rainy evening and snow had just started to fall. Sans and I were very excited for this tea and catching up sesh as we both love trying new places, especially quirky ones! ^__^
We got to choose our tea from a set of cards, I had the 'White Rabbit'-white tea with a hint of citrus, and Sans had the 'Queen of Hearts', a rose tea that smells incredible.
The sandwiches came out first: crab eclair, croque-monsieur, cucumber and cream cheese sandwich and a mini scotch egg. Despite the cute presentation, the savoury foods weren't particularly good. . .3/5 :X

On the other hand, we were quite impressed by the cakes ~ at the very top there were mushrooms and blue caterpillars-these are marshmallows and chocolate bars (also there's some carrot meringues hiding in the fake grass xD).
Then comes macarons and bite-sized cakes! The coffee macarons were supposed to be the rabbit's pocket watch. . .there's also banana breads, the Queen of Hearts' Oreo cookie 'soldiers' and red velvet ladybirds.
Of course, there's Alice's 'Drink Me' potion, a must have in any Alice in Wonderland theme~ ^_^
All in all its a fun Wonderland experience, I personally love themed afternoon tea!
Ft. the random couple sitting next to us (who were probably fed up with us for the amount of photos we took haha :X)

Brunch, Museum Trip & Ice Skating

A friend of mine visited London a while back and we decided to catch up over brunch ^_^ we went to Tom's Kitchen. At first we couldn't decide what to have, sweet or savoury haha. We ended up choosing from the sweet options, I opted for the french toast, which comes with caramelised apples and cinnamon cream. *nomnom
Sorry, didn't take much picture here. . . I didn't get to see everything but still, I had a good time! Went to Assa for dinner afterwards, one of my favourite spots to eat ლ(´ڡ `ლ)

.
Popped into my favourite bakery to get dessert! Hummingbird Bakery 's red velvet cake is seriously the best.

So glad I got a chance to go ice skating at Somerset House! ^___^ its been a while since I've been on the ice, was a little wobbly haha ~ there weren't many people as we went on a weekday, it looks beautiful as always
